This policy explains how to cancel your subscription and what happens after cancellation.
You may cancel automatic renewal of your subscription at any time. Cancellation is available through the EW Billing page or through Customer Support. EW does not state that a payment-provider customer portal is available until one is actually configured and tested.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. The customer retains paid subscription access through the paid-through date. Cancellation prevents the next automatic renewal. Cancellation does not automatically delete the account and does not automatically delete projects or data.
Existing projects are not automatically deleted when a subscription is canceled. Account deletion is a separate customer request. Data remains subject to the account’s available post-cancellation access level. Customers should export available project reports and data before account deletion. Cancellation and account deletion remain separate actions.
After subscription cancellation, account and project data is retained according to the schedule in the Terms of Service Data Retention section and the Privacy Policy. Subscription cancellation does not automatically delete the account, company, projects, or associated information. Account deletion is a separate verified request. See the Terms of Service (Data Retention) and the Privacy Policy for the complete schedule, including active-account retention, production-system deletion, backup expiration, financial and acceptance records, security logs, support records, and legal holds.
Subscription charges are not prorated or refunded for a partially used billing period, except when required by applicable law, for a verified duplicate charge, for a verified unauthorized charge, for a confirmed system failure, or when expressly approved by EW in writing. See the Refund Policy.
Separately purchased Project Credits remain available after subscription cancellation while the company account remains active. They are not removed by cancellation.
The free welcome Project Credit policy has been discontinued. No new welcome credits are issued. Any historical welcome credit that has not yet been neutralized remains visible in the ledger for auditing but is not available for new project creation. Separately purchased credits remain available after subscription cancellation while the company account remains active.
Monthly subscription-included credits expire at the end of the billing cycle in which they were issued. Monthly subscription credits do not roll over after cancellation.
You may reactivate a subscription by starting a new checkout. Reactivation is subject to the then-current plan availability and pricing.
If self-service cancellation is unavailable or you need help, email eWalk@eWalkScopeGuardPro.com and EW will assist with cancellation. Suggested subject: Subscription Cancellation — eWalk ScopeGuard Pro. Email is not the only cancellation method when an online subscription-management or payment-provider cancellation mechanism is available; use the Billing page in your account to cancel directly.
